THE WEAPON SNITCH, another #OldMadeNew revisit of an old artwork.

___ ​Reintroducing ... The Weapon Snitch.

___ I've been having fun updating my portfolio, lately. Usually that entails swapping out old artwork for new artwork. But the majority of my time has been consumed by tasks that don't result in new pieces to show off, jobs like book formatting and editing.
___ That, however, doesn't change my portfolio needing a refresh for 2024 if I want to attract new clients resulting in new artwork. So ... I've been revisiting older works, that for one reason or another, haven't gotten much notice or shown off lately.
___ This piece was originally created for K.E. Moore's book, The Weapon Snitch and the Crown of Blood. Unfortunately, I never saw any sign of it making it to publication and I've lost contact with the author. The social media connections I have for him have been silent since January 2021 and the book is not on Amazon. ​Rather than the art fading into memory, I decided to include it in my portfolio facelift.

​___ I applied different art treatments and effects to the original which were then layered in Photoshop and adjusted to get the final result, giving it a brighter, more traditional and refined feel.
