Wow, your art is really great! I loved the Gambit fan art and the picture you used for the front page of the gallery. Just gorgeous!
Great work. Maybe you can illustrate a cover for me at some time in the future. Let's stay in touch.
Gloriously beautiful. Each character, even each inanimate object, communicates volumes.
Your artwork is fantastic. You have such a variety and seem to know just what works for each book. I'm happy you're my illustrator. :)
Wow what a great site, so full of color.
BEAUTIFUL WORK, I'll send you a sample of my work soon, perhaps it will inspire new art or you will "know" what to put with each poem. Blessings, BREE
I was wondering what the cost would be to create a book cover, 6x9. My vision is a sideview of a standing woman that is in meditation or prayer. In the distance you see a meadow or field. The sky is stormy on one side, but you see the sun and brightness coming into the picture. The cover for the book is the only thing that is now holding me up to complete publishing. The name of the book is "My Life Tested: Earthly vs. Spiritual". Thanks!
I am interested in getting a cover for a two volume series on faeries. It's called The Faerie Chronicles. I already published them as two separate volumes but want to combine them.
Let me know if this is something you can do, prices etc. I love the pix of the boy faerie you did!
Hi, Raven! LOVE your stuff! Your detail is incredible!
Beautiful fantasy work especially! Thanks for sharing :)
My new found friend, you have an amazing gift to giving birth to visions. Congrats to you on your success and I pray you much more success going forward. I am also excited about the potential for us to work together in the future.
Peace & Blessings,
Rennell Parker, Sr ..."Random Thought, PHD"
WillowRaven has done 2 covers for me to date, book 2 and book 3 of my Abby Kane Trilogy (Celtic Secrets and Celtic Destiny) and we are working on a re-design of Book 1 (Celtic Magic). I have to say, the covers are so wonderfully beautiful and true to my vision that I often look at them with with stars in my eyes. My modest sales have really begun to grow since releasing the new covers that she createdfor my books and I could not be more excited to know that people love my covers as much as I do. If you are looking for a very good cover artist that will give you more than what you hoped for... you have found the right place.
Aidana has done my first cover for my book 'Kainan' it is superb! Seeing Aidana bring my characters to life has been amazing, everything is just right, from the way they look to the clothing and the jewellery they wear.... Now I am looking forward to my second book cover being done as it has dragons on the front! I know it is going to be amazing!! I have already had amazing feedback on how good my cover looks and I am positive it will increase my sales. Thank you again Aidana for a fabulous cover for being patient with me too!
Aidana has just completed the cover for my first book, Nandana’s Mark. To say, I am thrilled, is an understatement. Aidana’s work style is very professional. Using her Live Chat, we were able to discuss my project--the big picture and details, as well as the costs, up front. As Aidana provided drafts, her creativity and skill became increasingly apparent. She was responsive to my input and the final product was better than anything I’d hoped for.
I “met” Aidana online and worked with her through email and twitter. I found her communication style to be very productive. I love her work. I want her to illustrate all of my book covers!
Aidana has just finished my second book cover in the Deragan Sword Prophecy 'Meladrom'. I have to say Meladrom is fantastic, beautiful and I love the cover. I finally have the dragon I wanted so much on the front of my book! Not only did she produce this amazing cover but also suggested I changed the title of the book. After looking at it from her point a view I knew she was right! So 'Meladrom' it became. Thank you Aidana for giving me Meladrom. And I look forward to working on book 3, 'Analise' !!!xx
You responded to my Tweet looking for info on an illustrator. I have one completed picture bk manuscript and a couple of others in various stages. The completed one is a standard 32 p picture book with both human characters as well as imaginary ones. I know there is a wide range of handling writer/illustrator relationships - I'm curious to know a bit about your experience with this - how you've handled pricing your work and what experience you've had with publishing a joint effort. You can email a response to rantravewrite at gmail dot com
Liked what I saw in some of your DAZ3D illustrations for book covers. Looking for someone to help design my 6 X 9 book cover (front and back). Curious to know your availability and rates.
Hi there! Just wanted to make sure you had my contact info. We'll talk soon.
Just excellent work..
I have book marked you site and you already know I am a fan.
I get so many compliments on my book cover, and it is stunningly beautiful. Thank you.
Just stopped by to see your new stuff. You are getting better and better.
I would label this site, "A Plethora of Sublime Images."
Of course you know that my reference to your work as being dark was my ultimate compliment.
I find the genre you pursue to be a dichotomy between light aloofness billowing in time and space, juxtaposed against a dark motionless haunting spirit. It has a gossamer quality that travels the inexplicable path of multi-colored infinity which communicates with everything and nothing.
BTW I have a new manuscript soon to be published, titled, "Dunhill's Revenge." I think I would like you to do the cover.
An absolute delight to step into your world! As a former uni lecturer/secondary school teacher of art & computer 3D graphic art & photography (with a Masters of Fine Art (Photography)), I know the skill & effort you put into these gorgeous works.
You make it seem effortless, natural & ethereal - thank you so much for letting me "stop by"! You made my day :)
Can't get much nicer than this talented artist! Wonderful works!
Such a rich and sumptuous range of artwork. Well done!
Willowraven did the cover art for my first sci-fi/romance ebook, "This Changes Everything," and did "The Spanners Series" logo as well, since this is Volume I. Although it was sometimes difficult to reach her (local internet and phone problems), I am extremely pleased with the result! Thanks, Aidana! I look forward to planning Volumes II - X!
I LOVE YOUR WORK!!!!!!!!
I came here from D Hart St Martin's web page. I really like the cover that you made for "Fractured" and I wanted to see more of your work. I really enjoyed looking through your galleries.
Aidana WillowRaven has created the covers for the first 2 books in my trilogy, and I am looking forward to her surprising me again when we work on the last book together. She responds to my needs and makes changes to elements without complaint when I ask. She does wonderful work and is a true collaborator.
I have been roaming your wonderful web site. Thanks so much for promoting my work, I'll be touting yours as well. Your work is imaginative, crisp and evocative.
Appreciation. You have the atmospherics down for a range of genres!
Good morning, please email me. I believe your work and my writings have a future. I would love for you to help me design this book cover.
I have lost count of how many times I have looked at the cover for Diary of a Hunter. Genuinely from the moment I saw the model study to the final cover design you have captured her exactly. I look forward to continuing to work with you.
Hi Aidana WillowRaven,
I really like your art. It's dynamic in its technique and yet statuesque in its momentary posture.
It has a dreamlike, very refined quality to it which I love.
Thanks for giving such a broad overview and once I'm finally looking for a cover artist I'll be sure to be in touch again.
Come back to surf both my blogs:
Great art shown here on your website!
Your art is certainly very impressive. It's both unique and powerful; have you done any book covers?
I met you on Twitter. You responded to my tweet about needing a cover artist. Your work is very pretty.
I’m very impressed by your art, such wonderful ideas. The love for it definitely shows in the work. And you do fantasy art. (Smiles), I already have your blog favored.
Beautiful work on my cover and your advice for me has been spot on. Thank you so much.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE the artwork you did on the short story I wrote. I literally almost cried because you just seemed to understand exactly what I wanted and yet, I just let you do your thing! THANK YOU!!! I'm VERY satisfied!!!
Aidana WillowRaven showed up in my Twitter feed a little over a year ago when I was bemoaning the fact that a cover artist I thought I had locked down to do my Lisen of Solsta trilogy had bailed on me. She tweeted and offered her services, and I immediately replied, “Yes. Oh, please, yes.” We began with book 2, Tainted, then a few months later moved on to book 1, Fractured. She captured Lisen perfectly. The picture she gave me looked nothing like the Lisen I’d pictured, but I knew right away this young woman WAS Lisen.
Aidana has a wonderful way of taking the abstract and turning it into something concrete and beautiful. The third book, Blooded, was more of a challenge. I had asked for one thing, but she convinced me that an inside picture would not fit in with the brand for these books that was already established on books 1 and 2. I came up with another idea, adding a horse (truly a character in the book) and the romantic lead in the story, Korin. Again, Korin had lived in my mind as a very specific man. Then she wrapped her artistry around him, and once he came out the other side, I could no longer picture him any other way. Great work.
Wonderfully talented and visionary. I called because Jack Tyler sent me from the Steampunk Empire. Wonderful I am a bit speechless for a change!! Yours Aye Steve
Would like to talk about pricing for a 6x-9 book cover and turn around time.
What a find. It was such a pleasure to view your work. The quotes you used tells me a lot about you and your art. Truly passionate.
You helped me recognize my thoughts I put on paper in a beautiful artistically crafted image. You could see what I saw. Thanks. Your artistic prowess is beyond measure. Can't wait to work with you again and again.
We've done SIX covers together now. Let's keep going! Excellent work.
A few months ago we put a call out through social media for a cover artist. We needed someone with a unique vision and impeccable skills to create a cover for our latest story, Reckoning, by our best selling author R. M. Willis. Several people responded but none of them had the same spectacular portfolio as Aidana WillowRaven. She was exceptionally professional, worked closely with our company and the author through several revisions. We couldn't be happier with the final stunning cover. Additionally it was done well before the deadline. We will definitely be working with her again on future projects.
It was sheer luck when I stumbled across one of Aidana WillowRaven's wonderful pre-made covers for my book, Blades and Roses. I had been seeking a good cover artist/designer for quite a while now, but to no avail. When I first saw the image of the hand creeping towards a single rose on Aidana's Twitter feed, I immediately knew I had to get it to represent my book. After possibly the quickest and smoothest conversation and transaction between Aidana and myself, I had the most perfect cover for my Paranormal Romance novel - I certainly couldn't ask for anything more.
Thanks a ton, Aidana!
WOW,WOW,WOW! I am so very happy with the cover you did for me. You ARE a genius and I can't wait to redo the cover of my other book.
Fabulous work, lovely to know you. Thank you for tweeting...What a way to find each other.
Always reliable and does awesome work. High quality is her standard. I'll continue working with her for my acting promotional needs. Thanks!
Thanks for stopping by!
