State of Quarries, the interior layout anyway, has been cleared by 4RV Publishing. The only thing to do still is the full cover layout where the back and spine are designed and formatted for the printers. That gets the second book of the JGDS (Junior Geography Detective Squad) one step closer to the printers. State of Wilderness (the first book in the series), is still seeking votes for The New Covey Awards by following the link below. Lastly, I had promised to share some more of the illustrations from both books and some of the clues (most of the clue anyway) will find within them. 

Today, I am showing off the second set of clue illustrations for each book.

For State of Wilderness: CLUE #2: The *Beep* Pass is most notable for the Lewis and Clark expedition, which entered this state in 1805. Now, the *Beep* County Historical Museum contains artifacts and information about Sacajawea, the Native American woman who helped Lewis and Clark discover the Northwest Territory.

For State of Quarries: Clue #2: *Beep* (pseudophonetically pronounced: (*beep*) National Forest reigns as the oldest national forest in the south.
